Good Balance Global is a global workforce solutions company that enables businesses to hire, pay, and manage employees and contractors in 192 countries. We act as your Employer of Record (EOR) or Agent of Record (AOR), handling payroll, taxes, benefits, and compliance so you can focus on building your team.

How does Good Balance work?

You select the talent you want to hire, and we take care of the rest. We draft locally compliant contracts, onboard your new team members, run payroll in local currency, withhold taxes, and manage statutory benefits. You receive a single invoice, and your employees receive their pay on time, every time.

What jobs can I do via Good Balance?

Any role that can be performed remotely or in a country where we have coverage. Our clients hire software engineers, designers, marketers, finance professionals, customer support agents, and many other roles through our platform. Whether full-time employee or independent contractor, we have you covered.

How are you going to pay me?

We pay employees in their local currency via bank transfer or, in select countries, through digital wallets. Contractors can choose from multiple payout methods including direct bank deposit, Wise, and PayPal. You set your preferred method during onboarding, and payments arrive on schedule.

How long will it take to get my payout?

Employees are paid according to the local pay cycle, typically monthly. Contractors receive payment within 3 to 5 business days after invoice approval. Exact timing depends on your country and chosen payout method, but we always strive for the fastest possible transfer.

Good Balance Global was founded in 2018 in a small London office by a team of HR professionals and international tax specialists. Frustrated by the complexity of hiring across borders, they set out to build a platform that would make global employment as simple as local hiring. From day one, compliance and transparency were at the heart of everything we built.

Within our first year, we completed our first cross-border placement: a software engineer in Poland working for a UK startup. That single hire proved our model could work. Word spread quickly, and by the end of 2019 we were managing payroll and contracts for over 50 employees across 12 countries, each one fully compliant with local labor law.

The global shift to remote work in 2020 accelerated demand for our services beyond anything we had imagined. Companies suddenly needed to hire talent wherever it lived. We scaled rapidly, opening regional hubs, partnering with local legal experts, and expanding our coverage to more than 100 countries by mid-2021.
